Diverse Cultures, Community Celebrations, Meals Provided, Transport.

Ruahine Takaro Kindergarten is a vibrant and inclusive space where everyone is welcome.

Your tamariki will learn through play, creativity, and connection. Our teaching and daily life are guided by manaakitanga - showing care, respect, and support for each other.

We work with whānau to strengthen learning and support positive development both at home and in kindergarten.

We provide breakfast, morning tea, lunch, and are part of the KidsCan ECE Food Programme funded by the New Zealand Government until the end of 2026. We also have a van available for pickup and drop-off.

Our diverse community is reflected in our celebrations, our food, and our friendships. Te Reo Māori is woven into our programmes and tamariki are empowered to grow into proud, capable learners.

It takes a village to raise a child – find yours with us. Pop in anytime — or if you'd prefer to book a visit, get in touch and let’s organise your free tour today or enrol!
