Privacy Statement

Ruahine Kindergarten Association (RKA) requires personal information for the purposes of providing early childhood education. We understand that providing personal information involves a great deal of trust on your part and we take this trust very seriously. 

Any personal information provided to or gathered by RKA will only be used for the purposes that it is collected or permitted by the Privacy Act 2020 and will not be disclosed to any third party except where necessary for the provision of services, or as authorised or required by law.

RKA takes active measures to ensure the security and privacy of personal information and ICT devices are subject to continuous monitoring using an authorised third party. RKA’s website and social media may contain links to trusted external websites and RKA is not responsible for the content of privacy policies that govern such external websites.

From time to time RKA may distribute surveys or run competitions requiring contact details which will be deleted on closure of the survey/competition and personal information gathered will not be shared with any third party.

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. Please talk to your Head Teacher/Centre Manager.
