Ruahine Makino Kindergarten is a warm and welcoming place where every tamariki is valued.

As a proud Enviroschool, sustainability, nature-based learning, and caring for our land are part of everyday life. This also includes caring for our birds and turtles.

Guided by our values, we help your tamariki build emotional regulation, social skills, and a strong sense of self. Children learn with and from each other in a setting where diversity is celebrated and everyone belongs.

We offer a rich learning environment where te reo Māori and NZ Sign Language is woven into daily learning. Here, your tamariki will be part of a learning community that grows together.

It takes a village to raise a child – find yours with us. Pop in anytime — or if you'd prefer to book a visit, get in touch and let’s organise your free tour today or enrol!
