Why Us
A young child wearing a green bucket hat with 'Ruahine Kindergarten' embroidered on it. The child has light blonde hair and is looking down at their hands, which are covered in bright orange paint. The child is wearing a black shirt with a cute flower and wave design. The focus is on the child's profile, with the background blurred.

Sustainability, Relationship Building, Aroha, Meals Provided.

Ruahine Foxton Kindergarten is a joyful, inclusive place where tamariki grow through love, laughter, and learning.

As an Enviroschool, we care for Papatūānuku through gardening, recycling, and looking after our chickens. Our large, open environment offers plenty of space for fun and discovery.

We have strong connections to local schools, supporting a smooth transition to your child's next stage of learning. Whānau are always welcome. We are a meeting place for families where lasting friendships are formed, and tamariki feel a true sense of belonging and connection.

Our service is part of the KidsCan ECE Food Programme, this is funded by the New Zealand Government until the end of 2026.

It takes a village to raise a child – find yours with us. Pop in anytime — or if you'd prefer to book a visit, get in touch and let’s organise your free tour today or enrol!
