Ruahine Feilding Kindergarten is a hidden gem. It’s a peaceful place where tamariki can imagine, explore, and try new things.

We are a proud Enviroschool and foster curiosity and confidence through play in our rich natural environment. From our fairy garden to caring for our turtles, your child will have lots of opportunities to get creative and learn.

Strong connections with whānau and the wider community are important to us, as we know the value of learning from one another. By working together, your tamariki will become confident, empowered young people, ready to contribute, lead, and keep wondering.

What you need to know

Enrolments are now open.

  • Age range: 2–5 years old

  • Session times: 8.30 am–2.30 pm

  • Up to 20 hours free for 3–5 year olds, beyond that, fees apply (we can also help you find out if you’re eligible for childcare subsidies)

  • Proud to support a sustainable world - we’re an Enviroschool

  • Open throughout the year except public holidays and teacher-only days

  • We run a free playgroup on Thursdays, 9am—10.00am! It’s a great way to get to know us and meet other whānau. Get in touch and we can chat about how you can join the fun
