Welcome to Foxton Kindergarten

Foxton Kindergarten is a warm welcoming environment which is well resourced, is physically stimulating and challenging and boasts one of the largest outside green spaces within RKA.

We offer a child focused educational program reflecting children's strengths and interests. We celebrate the individuality and mana of each child and view everyone as unique and special.

Love, laughter and respect are fostered to promote friendships and social skills. The kindergarten is a great meeting place for parents, where relationships are nurtured and strengthened . We value our families input, involvement and experiences. The supportive caring teaching team are here for you and your child.

Thanks Spark Foundation
Thanks Spark Foundation

The kindergarten has been donated wet bags from Spark Foundation for our children to use instead of using plastic bags for their wet clothes. We would like to thank Spark Foundation for their kind donation. This supports our sustainability focus on educating our families and children around sustainability practices, caring for nature and lessen our footprint on the earth.

Foxton kindergarten performed at the Kerekere kapa haka festival that was held in Foxton at Manawatu college and involved schools and ECE centres in the Foxton area. The children were fantastic and held themselves high with mana.  All the parents and teachers were so proud of the great job they did performing in front of a large audience.

The considerable kapa haka skills of Foxton Kindergarten children were on display this term when they participated in the annual Te Awahou Kapa Haka Festival. Weeks of practising waiata and developing performance and singing abilities were proudly shown off at the festival in October, where the children performed six songs.

Magical Kitchen Creations

Foxton Kindergarten recently enjoyed a visit from Zappo, who put on his new magic show called Kitchen Rules. The last time Zappo was in the kindergarten he asked the children for their ideas on what they liked to cook, eat and their general knowledge about food, so he could incorporate this into his show. What a fun show Kitchen Rules was.
